Instructions on Pool Reservation Activation process

You will need to upload your driver’s license, a current gas or electric bill, and birth certificates when adding a new child or a new membership.  After completion of the upload, you will need to email us at recreation@mayfieldheights.org   We will process the activation membership and send you a confirmation email. You will then be able to Login and access pool reservations.

Pool access will be available to Mayfield School District residents.  Proof of residency will be required to purchase a Day Pass.

  • Please Note: Reservations are for set number of hours.  See schedule below.
  • You will be able to reserve 7 days in advance, 1 time slot/person/day.
  • Occupancy will be limited. 
  • Those 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • The slide will NOT be available for use.
  • Swim lessons will not be available this year.

Day passes will be available for purchase by residents, only after going through the Pool Reservation Activation process, which will then give residents the ability to make reservations online. This process includes: 1. Proving residency, 2. Signing COVID waivers and agreeing to pool guidelines for you and your family. 3. Paying the daily rate.

Dragga Pool Operating Plan for the Summer of 2020 

General Guidelines

• The City of Mayfield Heights is intending to operate Dragga Pool for Mayfield School District residents. Daily Pass Reservations can be made, up to 7 days in advance.

• No groups will be allowed to gather anywhere in the facility who are not from within the same household. For the purposes of COVID protocols, the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, will recognize anyone who comes to the pool together, as a household. This could change from day to day.

• There will be no concessions sold this year. We will allow patrons to bring their own food (no glass containers), provided they clean their area before leaving the pool.

• All other requirements of the state of Ohio and the Cuyahoga County Board of Health for the operation of a public pool will be followed and maintained as in all other operating years.


Physical Configuration 

• There will be no use of showers or locker rooms permitted at the facility.

• Restroom capacity will be limited.

• Patrons will enter the pool through the main doors, and exit the pool through the ramp gate by the Kiddie pool to

maintain physical distancing.

• Signs will be posted at multiple points in the facility, informing patrons of all facility rules.

• An employee will be posted at the entrance and exit points of the facility to ensure no common travel ways are blocked, no unauthorized access occurs, and the limit of patrons is maintained.

Patrons with a fever exceeding 100.4 degrees will not be allowed access.

• Personal flotation devices/ toys etc. are not permitted.


PLEASE READ AND ABIDE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING AS YOU ENTER THIS FACILITY: 

  • This facility is open to a limited number of guests; reservations are required.
  • You will be required to complete the Pool Reservation Activation process prior to making reservations.
  • Do not enter the facility if you are sick, if you have tested positive for COVID-19, or if you were exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
  • Please practice good personal hygiene, including washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or using hand sanitizer.
  • You must maintain physical distancing of six feet or more between yourself and those outside your household, when feasible.
  • You may not gather in groups that include members outside your household.
  • Do not stand, sit, or otherwise block common walkways or narrow passage areas.
  • Restrooms and other high-touch surfaces will be cleaned every two hours.
  • Some deck chairs will be available and are arranged to insure distancing. If you move a seat or chaise lounge chair near your household group, please return it to its original position after use. You are welcome to bring your own chair.
  • You are discouraged from using all shared items.
  • Please clean up after yourself by removing any trash you may have created during your stay.
  • Lost and Found items will be discarded at the end of each day. Please take all belongings with you.
  • Please use the designated exit point when leaving the facility.
  • Refusal to adhere to these rules may result in your removal from the facility and/or the inability to reserve future pool time.
  • Please check back with us frequently as some guidelines or procedures may evolve over the course of the summer.
