Bus Trip - Lake View Cemetery & Maxi's

With 285 breathtaking acres, Lake View Cemetery is the perfect place to spend the afternoon.  Even though the cities of Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, and East Cleveland have grown up around what was once open country side, the rural atmosphere that existed when Lake View was founded in 1869 continues to be preserved and cultivated. Lake View is a memorial to those who built our community, from titans of industry and civic leaders, to immigrant laborers and descendants of slaves.   From the James A. Garfield Monument, to Wade Chapel, to the final resting place of Eliot Ness, their land is rich with history.  The private tour has boundless stories of tradition and history.
Nestled in the heart of Cleveland’s Historic Little Italy, Maxi’s embodies a vibrant atmosphere and a welcoming ambiance. Whether you are looking for a place to dine before going to The Cleveland Orchestra concert or searching for the perfect location to share a conversation, Maxi’s welcomes you to enjoy dinner, an appetizer, a glass of wine at the bar, a Peroni while the game is going on, or even an espresso with a San Pellegrino for a caffeine push.

Bus Trip - Cleveland Script Sign Historical Tour

You’ve seen them on TV and you see them proudly displayed in publications both locally and nationally.  We're talking about those Cleveland script signs and their scenic backdrops, which offer some of the best group photo ops in The Land.  The signs are a creation of  Destination Cleveland, which installed the original three signs shortly before the Republican National Convention in 2016. Today, Cleveland boasts six signs that remain just as popular as when we unveiled them.  Our group is going to get a picture at 5 of the signs.
While we travel to locate the signs, a tour guide from Seecle Tours will be on the bus, giving us a historical breakdown of the area, with landmarks that include Bratenhal, Wade Oval, Millionaire Row, League Park, the Warehouse District, the flats and much more.
Once we get to Public Square downtown, we will stop and get lunch at one of the food trucks that are out that day.

WHERE:    5 of the Cleveland Script Signs
DATES:     Friday June 28th

COST:       $35 per participant – includes transportation to Cleveland Signs and tour guide
